I’ve long wondered why I enjoyed my friend Anis Mojgani’s poem, “Shake the Dust” as much as I do. Perhaps it’s because I’ve found a way to apply it to my life and use it to fight what’s been a long term battle with depression.
Sometimes I wonder if the cats have as active an imagination as I hope they do, especially when they’re gazing out the window at the world around them…
