So, you may have heard I’m playing a Wise Man this holiday season. Here’s a little more information about it and why it probably means a little more to me than normal.
I guess it was finally time to experience my first true football Saturday in the South – so of course I’d pick The Third Saturday in October… It was definitely not like anything I’d experienced before. I could get used to it – though it helped me early identify why I enjoy going to baseball games now too.
There were the professional lessons learned while on the road. There was also an important personal one – the idea that I could disconnect even more than I had been trying to. The benefits? The proof is in the numbers…
It was a long trip (and I haven’t even really processed everything I saw and learned while I was on it), but it definitely reminded me that I can do this – and not to worry about distractions and people who just may not understand…
