I just wanted to give folks an update on what I know about plans for this year’s WordCamp in Birmingham, AL (and to say thanks for the support of those in the local WordPress community over the last three years).
There are tons of opportunities to join a community here in Birmingham, AL. This is just the newest one, though its hope is to expand the city’s already growing collection of bloggers and what they’re able to accomplish. Hopefully some folks will take advantage of it and come out on Wednesdays to Pale Eddie’s downtown.
Neon signs appear to be slowly making a comeback here in Birmingham, AL – as is this site’s Neon in Birmingham series. This post actually gives you a chance to check out a “new” use for one of the signs we included in the series earlier – providing a new use for the sign and the building to which its connected.

What’s funny is that they’ve charged before, currently do charge for certain services and have warned about this day coming for some time – so why get upset about it?
