Good morning everybody:
I’d like to remind you about the Happy Hour for a Cause that we’re doing this evening at WorkPlay to collect donations for those still affected by Hurricane Katrina one year later. Please click on the badge to your left to learn more about the event. We’ll be starting at 5 p.m. at WorkPlay Bar. A list of items needed will be at the end of the post. I’d like to ask those bloggers that have time today to repost this information on their sites. I would greatly appreciate it.
I’m also happy to announce that anyone that brings a donation of any kind to the event tonight will now have a chance to win a VIP package from Artwalk, taking place next weekend, September 8 & 9 in the loft and design districts downtown. Here’s what the package includes:
- 2 T-shirt coupons
- 2 Koozie coupons
- 2 Passes to the After Party – September 9, 6 – 10 p.m., on the roof of The Avenues
- $25 Donor Dollars – to be used like cash towards the purchase of artwork at Artwalk 2006
We may be announcing another door prize later on this morning courtesy of a certain local film festival. I’d like to thank both of these organizations for their support with this. It means more than you will ever know.
*Sidewalk has donated a pair of weekend passes and two vintage Sidewalk t-shirts to be given away as well!
Please follow the jump to see the needs list, or we’ll see you tonight hopefully:
