It’s a fairly deep question to have to tackle – where do you feel most at home? I’ve come to realize it’s more a state of mind than an actual place.
A recent visit by a family member got me thinking again about just what the last name means – and opens up some new ways to help tackle the road ahead (I think).
I’ve probably taken some better photos during 2011 but this one probably meant the most in terms of why I still try to do what I do – and how to unwind when I need to. Plus, it’s still cool to know I’ll be able to say “remember that one time we were sitting in the grass at the airport waiting for our flight?”
It didn’t take nearly as long to decide on what I gave myself this year as it did to get the experience written out and marked up to be shared. I’ve got a feeling this #resound11 post may just give away how much I love watching baseball (and the structures the games are played in).
I’ve gotten away from committing to New Year’s resolutions in recent years, instead choosing to focus on loose guidelines or principles to keep me from beating myself up. Today’s #resound11 prompt though has me thinking about what a successful year would look like. So I found a way to do both (I think…).
