Random Shots: Hypnotizing view in DC

I’ve spent a portion of the weekend uploading images from some of my travels during the last year. This one was taken in January while I was in Washington, DC completing my coursework for my Certification in Professional Main Street™ Management (yep, I’m now a certified Main Street professional and here’s the press release to prove it – scary, huh…).

This is the roof of the Kogod Courtyard, located between the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. It opened in November 2007 and was definitely a peaceful way to start what became a stressful two-week period.
