As many of us prepare to celebrate Valentine’s Day (why we still need the one day to celebrate instead of… well, never mind), one of Birmingham, Alabama’s exports into American culture is celebrating his 50th birthday today.
This is an image from last night’s surprise party for Alan Hunter at WorkPlay taken by Curtis. One of the original MTV VJs has become an active force in trying to make his hometown a better place to live and work for many years. It was nice to see some folks turn out and say hello.
