Last night was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in a long time. The crowd definitely appreciated the music performed and the musicians loved the response from the stage. The show was an opportunity for several people to check out Bottletree for the first time. This image was taken approximately one hour prior to the first act taking the stage.
Here’s an image of the two headliners, Roscoe Robinson and Ralph “Soul” Jackson, towards the end of the second set.
The Adam Fitz Band also appeared to be enjoying themselves here in the Magic City.
Here’s Robinson and energy behind the compilation, John Ciba.
There are more images available in this photo gallery. I’m going to make the assumption that you will want to buy this CD. I’m also going to assume that some of our local record stores including Charlemagne Records and Laser’s Edge will be carrying this compilation. However, if you’re reading this and for some reason don’t see yourself being in Birmingham or Chicago anytime soon, I’d click here and purchase it. And to entice you to do one or the other, here’s a link to the most recent edition of WBHM’s Tapestry. The show includes an interview with Roscoe Robinson.
Enjoy the weekend.
Cheers.
