Yes, I’m on vacation. No, I’m not supposed to be posting. But when you live with a decent view of Vulcan at night and it’s the 4th of July, you can’t help but post images from the annual fireworks display for the city, Thunder on the Mountain. The fireworks appeared to have finished just in time too as storm clouds and thunder really do surround Red Mountain right now. Click here to view the photos.
Don’t forget that the document mentioned in the original stored post for today is the reason we’re supposed to be celebrating. It may also be good to see if we’re doing right by the intention of that document. It’s an interesting thing to take into consideration on America’s birthday and something that one of the members of the Combloggeration, Kenn at Diary of a Madman, takes on head on in his post today. Something to think about.
