For those that wondered just what the crowds at the BJCC looked like after the orchestrated portion that will be used during American Idol this season, here’s a look:
And while some 10,000 Idol hopefuls perform during auditions today (as mentioned in this morning’s post) a former Idol winner was visiting a this building in Woodlawn housing a project that he’s heavily involved in. He was giving it a voice in this community, providing a sign of hope and faith in the future of our youth.
Last night was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in a long time. The crowd definitely appreciated the music performed and the musicians…

I appreciate those that have already commented and look forward to more comments and opinions. Click on the link if you have not already viewed the post. I’m hoping that the conversations sparked by the post may lead to some concrete solutions or at the very least, acknowledgment of the issue. 3choBoomer was right in that I don’t take the gloves off very often, but I’m starting to realize that it needs to be done by someone. You can’t sit around and wait for the solution to fall into your lap.
But the idea of sitting on two pieces of information for another day would have been just way too difficult. So, two things that should make regular visitors happy… I hope
