So I didn’t quite get the opportunity to see “The Pursuit of Happyness” last night at the Alabama Theatre as I’d hoped. I could live with the reason why though; there were two long, LONG, lines wrapping around both corners of the block. It gave you a taste of what the buzz and traffic could be like on a daily basis in downtown Birmingham.
The event was listed as free, but donations were accepted at the door. As mentioned yesterday, proceeds from the show went to The Old Firehouse Shelter.
